Joe’s House partners with many hotels and other lodging accommodations across the country to help patients and their families find a place to stay while traveling for treatments. Patients can receive discounted rates for rooms. Although the nonprofit organization was created to help those with cancer, any patient may use the lodging facilities. Ronald McDonald House Charities offer free or reduced-cost lodging (a requested donation of up to $25 per day) for families of seriously ill children who are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
