Matt Stone

Matt Stone, Th.M., serves as a hospice chaplain with Honor Hospice, Colorado’s only physician-owned and operated hospice. He is married to his wife Heather and is currently in the ordination process with The Episcopal Church.

Tori Tomalia

Tori Tomalia is a two-time cancer survivor currently living with stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer since May of 2013. Her first cancer experience was childhood osteogenic sarcoma, for which she received chemotherapy and curative surgery, and had been cancer-free for over 20 years prior to the lung cancer diagnosis. Along with cancer, Tori juggles life as a mom of 3 small children, a wife, a theatre artist, writer and lung cancer awareness advocate.

Suzanne Lindley

Suzanne Lindley has been living with metastatic colorectal cancer since 1998. She is the founder of YES! Beat Liver Tumors, an organization for individuals living with metastatic liver tumors, and an advocate for Fight Colorectal Cancer.

Amanda Bontempo

Amanda Bontempo, MS RD CSO CDN is a registered dietitian and board certified in oncology nutrition, having received a bachelor's of science degree and master's of science degree from New York University. She has worked in oncology for over five years and consults with progressive health and technology companies in New York City. She's passionate about food and an equal lover of kale and chocolate. Jamie Holloway, PhD

As a PhD student in tumor biology, Jamie Holloway survived long hours researching breast cancer in the labs of Georgetown University. Ten years later, after being diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, she survived that too. Now with no evidence of disease, she shares a patient's perspective with scientists and clinicians as a breast cancer research advocate. A wife, mother, runner, and lipstick addict, she shares her story from the perspective of both a patient and a scientist.

San Francisco-based Heather Millar is a breast cancer survivor. A journalist for more than 25 years, she has covered health care and science for many national magazines and websites.

Helen C

Helen is a young professional working in data analysis. Beyond crunching numbers, she enjoys writing and spending time outside running, biking and connecting with others. She began taking an active approach to learning about and managing cancer after her aunt and mom were diagnosed with lung cancer, and provides a multicultural perspective on living with cancer. She lives in San Francisco, CA.

Laura Yeager

As well as being a cancer blogger, Laura Yeager is a religious essayist and a mental health blogger. A graduate of The Writers’ Workshop at The University of Iowa, she teaches writing at Kent State University and Gotham Writers’ Workshop. Laura survived cancer twice.

Lori Luedtke

Lori Luedtke is a native Texan but has lived in Florida since 1996. She is married and has one biological son and two stepchildren. Lori was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer glioblastoma (GBM) grade 4 in May 2012. After doctors gave her a prognosis of two months, she participated in Standard of Care which consisted of radiation and chemotherapy and took part in a clinical trial at Moffitt Hospital in Tampa, FL.
