Breastcancer.org, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, and Metastatic Breast Cancer Network work with CURE to inform, educate and encourage patients and families fighting breast cancer.

PLAINSBORO, N.J. (March 28, 2016) - CURE Media Group, the nation’s leading digital and print media enterprise focused on patients with cancer, today announced that three leading advocacy groups in the battle against breast cancer have joined CURE’s Advocacy Spotlight Partnership program. The new partnerships are with Breastcancer.org, Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered and Metastatic Breast Cancer Network.

“Breast cancer is the second most common cancer among women after skin cancer, resulting in 230,000 new cases annually,” says Mike Hennessy Jr., president of CURE Media Group. “We’re proud to join forces with three leading advocacy groups to raise awareness about effective treatments and the importance of early detection. These leading advocacy organizations will enhance outreach to patients seeking information and support, helping them live healthy and fulfilling lives through our extensive digital and print publications.”

Breastcancer.org President Dr. Marisa C. Weis founded the nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the most reliable, complete and up-to-date information about breast cancer and breast health, as well as an active and supportive online community.

Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered, or FORCE, is the only national nonprofit organization devoted to hereditary breast and ovarian cancer, serving anyone with a BRCA mutation or a family history of cancer.

Metastatic Breast Cancer Network is a national, independent, nonprofit, all volunteer, patient-led advocacy organization dedicated to the unique concerns of the women and men living with metastatic breast cancer, also known as stage IV or advanced breast cancer.
