Nutrition is a challenge for many patients with cancer.
Nutrition is a challenge for many patients with cancer. . Whether it’s managing the disease; side effects that impact the taste of food or appetite; or limited time, energy or finances, patients may struggle to eat well and stay nourished during treatment.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) understands these challenges and works to ensure patients and their caregivers are equipped with information and resources to help them manage nutrition after a cancer diagnosis. We are here for you.
LLS’s Nutrition Education Services Center (NESC) supports all cancer patients, not just blood cancer patients. Our registered dietitians have expertise in oncology nutrition, and they are available for free one-on-one phone consultations. Consultations may include:
