During cancer, we all share a common denominator: hope.
Cancer diagnosis is scary but you HOPE everything will be ok.
You put your faith in your doctor and HOPE they can help you live a long life.
You start your treatments and HOPE you won’t get sick from them.
You get scans every three months, scanxiety is real, and you HOPE the results will be good news.
Cancer affects everyone differently. We all need different treatments and tests. The only thing that
we are united about is we all have HOPE.
HOPE to live a long life
HOPE to enjoy future generations and
HOPE that a cure will be found.
I wrote this poem because we all share a common denominator: hope. When you are first diagnosed, you wonder if there is any hope. As time and treatment goes on, you see that hope actually exists.
