Plainsboro, NJ, April 23, 2015 -- CURE™ magazine, the largest consumer publication in the U.S. focused entirely on cancer, has formed a partnership with leading virtual cancer patient care solutions company Medocity, Inc., to add a lineup of articles, blogs, videos and other content to Medocity’s iCancerHealth platform.

iCancerHealth is a virtual-care platform that bridges the gap between the clinic and the patient’s home. With the addition of content from CURE, iCancerHealth will now provide journey-based content for patients and their caregivers.

iCancerHealth is an intuitive, comprehensive platform that:

-- Manages and tracks medications, symptoms and treatment plan;

-- Guides the patient and caregiver with timely disease- and drug-specific information; and

-- Shares and connects with the patient’s care team, family and friends.

With iCancerHealth, patients can share detailed records of their daily health, side effects and symptoms with their physicians and nurses in order to help them make more informed clinical decisions. Medocity will customize iCancerHealth with a section devoted exclusively to CURE content.

“This agreement will improve the lives of cancer patients and their caregivers,” said Mike Hennessy Jr., president of Intellisphere Oncology and Healthcare Specialty Group, a part of the Plainsboro, N.J.-based Michael J. Hennessy Associates, Inc. (MJH) family of businesses. “We’ll provide content for the iCancerHealth platform, and we’ll also promote this groundbreaking platform in our magazines and newsletters, and on our website.”

“Medocity is looking forward to providing our users with the helpful information offered by CURE magazine and its related publications,” said Raj Agarwal, CEO and president of Medocity. “The new partnership will further Medocity’s goals of providing tools like coordinated care, engaging and educating patients, and helping avoid unnecessary trips to the emergency room.”
