CURE®’s first episode of our new cooking show is finally here! We’ll give step-by-step instructions for three delicious recipes to support readers through every step of the cancer process.
In this new segment, we will be demonstrating a step-by-step process of how to cook the delicious recipes that readers see featured in our Heal® publication. We will also be giving tips on how to use these recipes in your kitchen, why they are beneficial – and even a corny joke or two!
Our first recipe is a powerful pesto that can be used in many different types of ways. It is a great addition to pasta, whole wheat pizza and can be added it to Greek yogurt to make a great dip!
Another great recipe we are making is roasted chickpeas. These are a great addition to salads or can be eaten alone as a snack and they are packed with nutrition! Tune into the video to hear about the benefits!
And finally, we would never forget about the sweet tooth. The peanut butter energy oat balls are a great snack when you need something sweet after dinner, or just a mid-day pick me up!
Be sure to share your finished dishes and tag us on social media when you make these recipes on your own!
If you have any recipes that have helped you through treatment or survivorship send them our way — we’d love to see what you’re cooking up in your kitchen!
