Thea's Star of Hope

When Thea Danze was four months old, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. So, in 2011, her mother, Trisha, started a nonprofit called Thea's Star of Hope that raises funds for pediatric brain tumor research, with hopes of finding treatments that are more effective and less toxic.

 invited Trisha, Thea and Thea's younger sister, Lilly, to our video studio to learn more about the organization.

When asked about her favorite thing about Thea's Star of Hope, the ten-year-old explained that the organization is like a laser on pediatric brain tumors, shooting at them until, hopefully one day, poof! They disappear.
