Johny Almazor

I have been working aside Sydney Desrosiers, RN, for almost three years now at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. Her compassion and commitment to her patients never ceases to amaze me. Sydney is always willing to lend a hand no matter what the task may be. She treats all patients like they are her own family.

One incidence in particular really sticks out to me. When the COVID-19 pandemic first started, one of her patients was no longer able to receive visitors. He was heartbroken, so Sydney did her best to spend extra time with him and always made sure to FaceTime his family at least once a shift. Her dedication to this patient was exceptional, perhaps the best I've seen. She applies this care to all of her patients.
