Stage 4 lifer on eighth treatment Halavan. Tumor markers finally down.

I&#39;ve been battling multiple myeloma for three years and after eight months on maintenance chemo, I finally felt well enough to get back in my studio (a corner in our bedroom). We moved to Philly from Kansas to be close to our daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters. This 36&quot;x36&quot; acrylic on canvas is a depiction of them at Rittenhouse Sqare, a great little park in Philadelphia.

I love angels and mermaids and anything from the sea. My table represents all this and more. When I was finally in MMR, my wonderful daughter presented me with these Willow Angels. One is hope and the one with her arms extended in joy is courage. They are a daily reminder of the power of prayer. My fight with leukemia has humbled me. I thank God for hearing my prayers, listening to them, and above all answering them. We pray, he hears, he answers.
